Charcoal & Diamonds

Charcoal people in my sketches, canvas and rhymes –

rude lives in mud walls and outskirts, unbathed among wells they

cannot defile –  who are they, what am I, and who are you, my

God,  who speaks through such fine print, sieved, weaved in

these my raggedy notes and some of my tribes,

who are you, what am I, that after all this time,

a Seal on my heart

a Love for a Nation, mine-

what a Mine,

untouched…

why  …. ?
